Temporary file makes your computer less efficient, and it can be stored in our Pc in different ways. Cookies contains more bits of temporary codes and saved passwords. Likewise there are many temporary files such as temp, %temp%, prefetch, recent, software codes in browser and so on.... If there is large bits of temporary files in hard drive, there will be slow in computer process untill it gets cleared. These cache memories are large in memory and it can be completely cleared using the software "Cleanup".
The Cleanup.exe clears all the temporary memories including recycle bin and make up your system much more faster and improve the performance of the system.
Running: When it done running, it seems like it pauses or froze and just stopped working. It hasn't. It is still working. It just seems like it is paused but it didn't, it's just quiet as it finishes & doing what it needs to do. Then it will give you a button to restart or log off your computer to finish the cleanup. Its better to restart your computer but its optional. If you are in important work, you can do it later. Now on my computer this 'pause time' is only like 5 to 10 seconds long. If you have an older or slower computer is could take longer. Also if this is the first time you have used this program, or if you have done a lot online since you last used the program, then the amount of cleanup is greater, and the 'pause time' is longer. Example, if it found only 34K of things to cleanup and delete recovering disk space the 'pause time' will be shorter. If it finds 234K of things to cleanup and delete recovering disk space, the 'pause time' will be greater.
